Rewards and benefits of Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) Scholarship:
Students enrolled in this programme shall be entitled to the following rewards and benefits as set by DEWA:
- Monthly allowance of AED 6,500 for the duration of study as per the programme schedule
- Medical insurance for the duration of study as per the programme schedule

Scholarship Program Introduction:
Within its motivating endeavors to nationalize the engineering posts, DEWA, in cooperation with UAE University, have decided to send students to study electrical engineering and mechanical engineering in the university, believing in the necessity of preparing and qualifying the local High School graduates (Scientific Section) to occupy the engineering posts in DEWA.
After completing the program successfully and attaining the Bachelor degree from UAE University , a local employee will be confirmed in one of the engineering positions in DEWA and shall be paid a remunerative salary plus additional allowances and increments.

DEWA offers various academic programs to students who are willing to join the scholarship programs:
- Intilaq Program: Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) in the various private and government universities and colleges.
- Bachelor of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Program, in the UAE University.
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering in-Higher College of Technology-Dubai Men´s College
- Bachelor of Renewable Energy abroad.
